The present privacy statement refers to the processing of personal data of present and former clients, prospects or persons having shown interest in our products or services.

How do we collect data?

We collect information on browser type, IP-address, email address, name and shown interest. These data are forwarded by Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Sharpspring, Facebook Pixel and the registration procedure. When filling out our contact form, your data - upon your approval - will also be entered manually into Sharpspring. After any rental, sale or offer request your data will be saved to enable an appropriate follow-up and possible after-sale service.

What categories of personal data do we process?

Depending on the relation we have with you, following categories of data may apply:

• Name, forename, language(s), position
• Address, telephone number (any type), email address
• Professional data: company data (address, telephone (any type), email address),
• VAT registration number and company ID number
• Make and model of vehicles and products you have shown interest or requested an offer for
• Make and model, products and/or services you have purchased and information to the order process
• For any repair: chassis number, license plate registration number, mileage and details to the done repair
• Date of registration of the data and their source
• Shown interest related to camper vans and travelling
• Events you have attended

Use of cookies

In certain cases, jurisdiction imposes the processing, saving or forwarding of data related to tax and bookkeeping to the involved government agency.

Can your personal data be forwarded to third parties?

Following cases may imply the forwarding of your data:

• To our subcontractors whom we ask to perform in our name (e.g. Call centres, commercial agencies, ICT providers, Cloud providers, …). Any third party is urged to comply with our instructions on the use of your data and to refrain from any alternative.
• To the manufacturer of your vehicle.
• To our commercial partners, enabling them to forward commercial offers based on your marketing profile.
• To specific government agencies in order to comply with our legal requirements.

Transfer outside the European Community

All Google, Facebook, Sharpspring data are stored in the United States of America and are exclusively open to the Sharpspring employees or Sharpspring partner companies for the time of your costumer relation. Sharpspring does not sell nor rent its client lists to third parties: the company and its affiliates comply with all the conditions of Europe’s GDPR.

For how long will your data be saved?

Your personal data are kept for 20 years. This period equals the lifetime of a campervan. Your van may need further maintenance and repairs in this period.

How do we protect your personal data?

We shall do the utmost to best protect your data and to respect your privacy. To that extent, we foresee a maximum of required technical means and adequate organization. All software we work with is according legal specifications.

What rights have you got? How do you call upon them?

In respect to the privacy legislation, you have the right to access your personal data. Doing so, you further have the right to request any correction or to add/complete missing information.

You also have the right ‘to be forgotten’ as specified by the law. In case of a dispute on the processing of your data, you may request to delay the processing until the dispute is settled. And last, you have the right of transferability of your data.

Your right to object

You may at all times object – without grounds – to the use of your data for direct marketing purposes as well to the use of marketing profiles based on your personal data. You can equally object to the forwarding of your provided data to third parties for above marketing purposes.

We respect your privacy and offer you the possibility of declining the offer to receive announcements and specific information. All users can choose to receive all, some or no communication.
